How far do the top pros throw?

Nice list. I'd bump down Drew and bump up Gannon.

    Most Iconic or Amazing Holes

Haven't played a hole that I felt was iconic in my time around STL (even the great holes all over Harmony Bends fall juuuust short of iconic for me), but my contribution is that I get a lot of joy out of holes whose intended disc flights are gorgeous. One local example: #3 Endicott. Throw a...

    Building the minimalist bag

If I'm in a hurry: Luna Zone Buzzz Valk I can throw them on any angle well enough to get within a couple strokes of having a full bag. If I have to lay up instead of trying to thread a dogleg because I don't have the disc for it, that's probably better for my score anyhow. But generally I like...

    United States disc golf championships

So are they being extorted by Vimeo or...? I don't understand such advanced technologies as the automated fragging of popular live events, so that's what I'm going with until I hear otherwise.

    Return of the King... Hopefully

In my experience with subpar back knees and hips..Stretch first thing in the morning, stretch and warm up pre-round for minimum of 3 minutes but ideally 5-10, and if you can stand it, do lots of low impact practice throw motions, like 30 reps.

    Paige Pierce #29190

I feel like she shouldn't be throwing fiddly understable stuff with her power game. The Sol, provided it's an atypically beefy one, is probably a good fit for her as a utility disc, but she has a lot of arm speed and spin. Even the Stalker is kind of pushing it imo. On marketing, I don't see...

Need info (ammo) on Environmental Impact of Discs in Water

Maybe instead of playing defense, he should expose and humiliate the psycho.

    Paul McBeth #27523

Is he practicing as much? I don't really believe in confidence affecting performance. I think that stuff is almost entirely superstition and the perception of confidence is chiefly the result of performance. It's easy to be "confident" when you're really good, and you don't get good by being...

    Disc Golf Valley

What great course design. Took me an embarrassing number of tries to 3-star it! Lots of opportunities for fuse eagle throw-ins here. Short island hole I have had about equal success with wind/glide BPro below full power, full power Wind/Acc Recoil, and various discs thrown to the shore on the...

    Disc Golf Valley

Nice! Good day to release it too, considering how epic an IRL disc golf thing just happened.

    Disc Golf Valley

Anybody else (irrationally?) convinced that the game goes into "Go F Yourself" mode sometimes? Multiple rare spit-outs, no skips, bizarre OB rolls, and always putting through a bush, all packed into 9 holes of abusive goodness.

    Brodie Smith PDGA #128378

I know this is all super serious and we're growing sports one half driving range at a time, but there's a little part of me that enjoys how annoying this must be to the golfers.

Do Pros Practice What They Preach?

Examples? But to relate this to pool, some legendary pros have neglected major fundamentals. Doesn't mean they're hypocritical, because the fundamentals are nearly universal even though there are exceptions.

    Losing interest

I've slowed way down but still love the game and follow the coverage. Mostly due to work, nagging injuries, and a springtime run of very bad luck with the weather sucking on my days off. But I recently went to play Harmony Bends on a whim and it was a blast. A nice new course opened near my...

    Brodie Smith PDGA #128378

Love the direction the discussion went. For doubters of how many factors are calculated in the brain, both consciously and subconsciously, think about a short approach with a complicated or serious landing area. You're thinking about a lot of things! The pros think about those things from...
