I'm also of this line reasoning. Throwing putters at first can definitely help somebody with their form, but the thrill of throwing a distance driver is definitely more entertaining.
A buddy's disc got stuck in a tree for a few weeks - way to high to get up to; we're talking an easy 60 feet here. After a big wind storm I went to go see if it had dropped out, and found three discs lying in the fairway. What a good day that was. :D
I know that feel. Also can't help but feel cheated when it's beautiful all day while I'm at work, but the minute I get off is the minute it starts pouring rain (as happened yesterday )
Needless to say, I played anyway...
I found an unmarked Champion Groove IN the basket one day. There was nobody else at the course and no drop box that I knew of, so I gave it to a friend of mine. One day he threw it super far and we never found it - different way of paying it forward I suppose.
I don't know what they are called, but we have these awful red stemmed monstrosities covered from top to bottom in long, scratchy thorns. Some of our area courses are completely taken over by the stuff in the rough in the summer months.

Maybe I'm just a cynic.
My local course is doing alright after the storm; we did lose a few trees here and there but it's only a big deal on one of the holes, as two trees, complete with leaves, have cracked in half and fallen toward the middle of the fairway, making a much larger obstacle to throw around.
There was a...
You could use this time to work on your left handed game. It sounds silly but it keeps you on the course. I still can't drive with my left hand, but my putts are getting really good.
Oops! I meant to say the owner of the disc, but I clicked owner of the house instead :doh::doh:
So disregard one of those votes in the minority.
