Review by jeffp in course Golfcourse at the Gögerl

3.50 star(s) Amazing piece of land and good layout Views are amazing Great mix of open and wooded holes Good variety of elevation Most holes are challenging but fair Good variety of hole lengths No teepads. Some of the tees are on gravel which is much worse than grass. The grass and dirt tees were fine...

    [Vs.] Alpha or ZAM Trace

if i only bagged 1 stable fairway it would be the alpha. it's a really good disc. that said, i currently don't bag the alpha because i am the opposite of a mold minimalist and i bag both a teebird and a thunderbird. i find the alpha to be right inbetween those two molds in flight characteristics.

How to not destroy my throwing hand on distance shots?

do you put the tips or the pads of your fingers on the inside of the rim? i put the tips and i don't have this problem and i've suspected for a while that people who have this problem put the pads of their fingers on the rim. my grip locks the disc in more with the bone structure of my hand than...

The Ask MJ & Comet Love Thread

thanks for the quick answer! i tried every OS mid on the market and couldn't find anything with the hornet's combination of high speed stability and glide. for discraft mids the buzzz os has good stability but no glide, the drone is too overstable and glideless (and also oop), and the wasp flips...

do you still plan on throwing hornets now that they're out of production? do you ever worry about other molds you rely on such as the ringer going out of production?

Review by jeffp in course Audubon Park

4.00 star(s) A solid course in a nice park Nice big trees throughout the park. Creek comes into play on a few holes but not a huge risk of throwing one in there. Good variety of shots. Some short holes, some long holes, good mixture of left and right turning fairways. Fairways are fair, no random luckfest...

Review by jeffp in course Harry Myers DGC - Old Layout

4.50 star(s) One of the best courses in the country This is definitely one of the best courses I've ever played. Fairly open with a few wooded holes. Good clear fairways with pretty rough rough if you can't keep it in the fairway. Lots of routes to try, you aren't forced into a specific shot on most holes. A...

Review by jeffp in course Lester Lorch Park - Beaver DGC

3.00 star(s) Decent course Good mix of shots. Some wooded holes, some open holes, some low ceilings, good mix of left and right turns. Different pin positions for some variety. Tee boxes are a bit short. Some of the fairways make no sense and you just have to throw at a bunch of trees and hope you miss them...

Review by jeffp in course Lester Lorch Park - Coyote DGC

1.00 star(s) Not sure if the course designer has ever played disc golf before Holes 1 and 14 are pretty good with multiple lines and a clear fairway with some nice obstacles This course is more luck than skill. Almost every hole is a tunnel shot. The "fairways" just aren't there and you're going to hit...
