Review by Kellermeyer14 in course Winton Woods

1.50 star(s) Mostly Harmless Reasonably tight fairways. Doglegs. Obstacles. Logical layout (Tees right next to pins). Nice quiet area. Short. Did I say, "Short?" I meant minirature. You only need a midrange and a putter, or just a putter. The pars for each hole are ridiculous. I think they just picked...

Do you use accordian dividers or no?

    Not "wrong", just unconstitutional ;)

    Stolen Practice Hole

The stolen practice hole might be on the University of Northwestern Ohio's campus. So if you see a hole that is a Mach 3, report it. We can't afford for the Lima area parks to see the DG course as a liability.

    [Discraft] Discraft Xtra

So would it be like a whippet? Innova rates it as a 6 3 +1 5

    [Discraft] Discraft Xtra

I found a discraft xtra while fishing my own disc out of pond today. It says it's "maximum distance" driver, but it looks kinda like a T-bird. I haven't thrown it yet. It's out of production so I'm wondering what to compare it to in the Innova line.

    Ottawa Metro -- Lima, OH

Update I ran into one of the courses designers the other day and this is what I found out: The course will receive 9 more holes on one condition: Shawnee gets shut down (which many are pulling for; I think the nearby school might want the property), and OM gets those holes. The holes will be...

    Favorite Online Retailer

Awesome feedback As I've only shopped from a few retailers, there is no way I could have listed all of the good retailers. The great thing about the other category; though, is that it allows you to really let us know what it is you like about the retailers left off the list. After all, each...

I think it would be very interesting to see who everyone prefers, and why or why not.

    Designing my own discs

Thanks for the input and enthusiasm As Emerson once said, "Nothing great has ever been achieved without enthusiasm." and a lot of money. I added that last part. Money shouldn't be a problem. I have investors I could go to. It's just a matter of convincing them I could make a profit in two or...

    Designing my own discs

Thanks for the input. I was definitely looking at starting with a solid foundation of discs that fly very similar to the most popular innova and discraft discs, like the tee bird and the buzzz, and then starting to get a little more innovative. Maybe like Quest AT and Aerobie. After all that's...

What's wrong with my Double D?

I did read something about shaping it on their website. So that seems to be the key? I've also heard that lower grade plastics can cause discs to be more understable. Both my Max and Tee Rex are Stars, I wasn't sure if it would have that much of an effect, though. But if I understand flexing...

What's wrong with my Double D?

I've been trying out Quest AT's double d lately which proportedly has the same characteristics of a Max. With my Max and Tee Rex I can just let it rip forehand with an anhyzer grip and get that sweet S curve for 360 to 400 footers. When I try it with the double d, it just turns over and hits...

    Ottawa Metro -- Lima, OH

Although I live in Louisville, I hail from Lima, OH; and the scuttlebutt (look it up...or use context clues) is that the local parks system is there is planning on expanding the disc golf course to 18 holes. That's according to my brother, who heard it from Tony Waterfall, who is heavily...

Starting to love my Tee-Rex... Seems like I can throw it a country mile.
