    [Innova] Whippet Evolutution?

I'm reviving this thread because I just got an old circle stamp DX Whippet that is absolutely awesome. I used to throw them all of the time until they all became the Whippet X mold. These are becoming increasingly hard to find, and DX plastic doesn't last forever. IMO it's best driver into a...

Help! My Comet Turns and Burns!

Anything closer than 150', I'm more than likely going to throw a putter.

Help! My Comet Turns and Burns!

I've been thinking about the holes I used to drive with a Comet; none of them were under 300'. I'm starting to think the Comet may be better suited for longer throws where most people might normally use a driver. I throw a Meteor for distance shots only. I think stable (Buzzz), to overstable...

Help! My Comet Turns and Burns!

You just have to learn to trust the glide. Try some stand-still throws, see how far it'll go, you may be surprised. I used to throw a Comet a lot, I've since switched to my beat in Z Buzzz. It handles the wind better, holds the same line. The Buzzz seems to be more consistent for the low...

    Base Plastic Equivalent to Anode

I use both a DX Aviar P&A, and an Anode. They feel similar in my hand. Anode is really good for windy days, I use it for most putts. Aviar is easier to control uphill, downhill, or for lob putts. I'll also switch to the Aviar if my arm starts to feel tired. The Anode is at it best when I...

    Zone Replacement

Rhyno is the best if you want the disc to sit when it lands. Zones skip. Pigs roll away. The older Whippets were a nice overstable driver. The current X mold Whippets are so overstable that they seem to be only useful for what you would use a Zone for. I don't play the skip often enough to...

    [Innova] Pro Wraith...other options?

Pre- Kenny (SWR) Wraiths fly similar to Augusta Wraiths. Slight turn, slight fade, that absolutely bombs. My Augusta is my go-to distance disc. The SWR has a tad less glide. Both weigh 168g. I also carry a regular champ when I need a little more fade.

[Innova] Let's talk star rhynos... again

I just got an Ontario Star Rhyno. It's a tad less flexible than an XG, super grippy. Stock stamp, no flight #s. I've never seen one like it. How rare are these?

    Beadless OS mids

I think it's funny now to hear people considering a Viper for midrange duties. When I started playing, it held the distance record. It was the biggest, baddest driver out there. Noobs were laughed at when they purchased one thinking they would get instant distance. I haven't thrown one since...

    Is base plastic necessary?

If they did make DX Grooves, it would win the "most expendable disc" award.:)
