DGPT: 2021 DGPT - Idlewild Open presented Aug 13-15

I think it was just bad grammar because companies don't proofread **** anymore. It should read a "Player in our Open Field tested positive for Covid-19"

    [Axiom] Axiom Crave, FAIRWAY DRIVER?!

For me the Hokom craves are pretty normal craves. If you're looking for a more OS crave, you want a cosmic neutron.

    [Question] More OS Judge

"Paige Shue Lucid-X Judge | Another Round Disc Golf" https://www.ardg.shop/product/paige-shue-lucid-x-judge/1370?cp=true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=true

    [Question] More OS Judge

The Lucid-X Judges I just picked up as part of Paige Shue's tour series are extremely overstable. They overlap with my Zone more than my normal judges.

    [Question] More OS Judge

If you can get em. The judges in lucid-X are a lot more overstable.

States, Metros with the best DG Scene?

Way to dredge this thread up. Back in 2011 what they said about Chicagoland was true, now not so much. A few courses have spring up and are continuing to spring up in the Burbs that have changed the scene greatly. Squaw Creek/Fairfield redesign by Chuck Kennedy, The Canyons, Rolling Knolls in...

"Buy or Sell" segment on upcoming (June 5) Upshot

Buy or Sell: Regular Golf isn't any harder than disc golfer, but your average disc golfer has far more hours of practice than your average golfer. Whether it's financial barrier to entry or conveince of a round only taking an hour and a half max or not needing to pay green fees or driving range...

Baseline Plastic Lovers Let Me Hear You

From the DX Roc3's that I threw, they beat in much faster than your standard Rocs. I think it has something to do with the profile being a little faster and the wing being a little sharper, making dinks and scapes on it more effective at changing the flight of it.

    pre tournament games

Fun game we play is sidearm, roller, backhand. Basically you play a round and complete a hole using the type of shots, but after you use it you can't throw it again until you go through all the others. If I throw a backhand off the tee, I can no longer use a backhand on that hole and possibly the...

    [Dynamic] Enforcer-Speculation and discussion thread

I've had a set of Enforcers in my bag since they came out, one in Fuzion and one in a Milky Opaque Lucid. I've thrown the Fuzion more and it has beat in real nicely. It's still a head wind discs for sure (I live in Illinois, I deal with wind a lot) but I now get some decent turn out of the...

    Distance Aid Legal?

Rangefinders are legal, but they used to not be. When the PDGA updated rules in 2013 they removed GPS Rangefinders from the "Artificial Devices" section of disallowed equipment

[Drivers] Speed 11, Stable distance driver?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Boatmen yet. They start out like the more overstable wraiths but beat in pretty straight and workable

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

I do, the current runs of DX I've been using have been feeling great. I have a KC Roc that is still overstable and I've been working in a flat top that is perfect, and has been holding up real well. I'll be excited once I get some turn out of it.
