I don't like powering discs down either. I think it's something I should try though.
Edit: For example, I'd rather throw a Buzzz or Comet for things around 300 ft. than a powered down TL.
Speaking of the Wizard "getting up and down fast", I think it drops like a rock on long putts. Would it be wise to throw in a Magic, or something more floaty on long putts? I'm talking in the 50ft. + range.
I have a flat, Opto Striker and that thing seems to drop like a rock. I know they're not the same disc, but I get SO much more glide out of my flat, Champ Beast. Is this normal? It doesn't seem to have much glide. FWIW, I can put my Roadrunner and Beast around 400. The Striker has problems even...
