I actually played a few rounds in the early '90s but didn't play the next 20 years. That was my "bag"...may have been one more...didn't even have a bag...didn't need one.
Wish I still had those discs.
Need an Escape Pro...so to speak. Would the Saint Pro fill the gap? Seems that the Felon and Escape may share some mold parts (Like the Firebird/PD/OLF do) Not sure if the rim width is identical to the Saint Pro and Saint.
Actually, temporary signs are up and the baskets have been remembered by covering the old numbers. Just played yesterday, at least the East course.
I put a pic of the new layout up in the links/files section. So far all existing wooden sings, tee numbers, etc are still there.
One thing I didn't mention. If I played a lot of open courses, I would use more speed 9s.
The beauty of speed 7s is that on tighter, lower lines, the fade will be smaller. Love my Eagles, from new to beat. I did use PDs in stages, but sometimes the bigger fade got me in trouble, especially...
I have been back and forth, but use them now. I have a bit more control with speed 7s, especially when tighter lines are required.
I may even put some speed 9s in as well...more distance and better control than the wide rim stuff.
Been there....sounds like my exact story
I'm 6-3, larger hands. Tried a lot of mids..started with Rocs, tried Wasps, Buzzzs.....Drone felt awesome! Went back to Rocs, then back to Buzzzs, tried the Core, you name it...Buzzz was the most comfortable...and after about a year or so, was in about...
Moderate hill, moderate woods. The variety of up, down, flat, left, right, technical, open, etc. has you throwing a variety of discs and shots. Keeps it from getting boring.
Olemiss...don't feel bad, your drive is alot better than mine. I received similar balance/weight transfer advice from sidewinder...was doing the same thing by leaning back, not turning back. Worked on it quite a bit today.
BTW Sidewinder, that pic is great, with the lines showing the angles.
Thanks. I went back out today and worked on it. I did shorten up the plant step a touch to make sure I had shifted my weight. I also tried not to kill it. Helped quite a bit.
I'll work on that next bit of advice (sitting/leaning vs turning) as well.
