Review by Victory33 in course The Hill @ Northview Church

4.00 star(s) Awesome Course Elevation! This course with some fun elevation. Nothing too crazy, but the layout is great. There are open holes, wooded holes, uphill shots, downhill shots, dogleg holes...it's got a fair amount of variety. The baskets are all Innova and great quality. The course was well...

Review by Victory33 in course Longley Park DGC

3.50 star(s) Solid Course You shoot into the woods, out of the woods then get great low ceiling, and tunnel shots. Very nice use of the wooded areas and open space. Some really tough shots inside the wooded area too, hit the first tree and you are in trouble. Also some long range shots and wide open looks...

Review by Victory33 in course Boondocks Farms

4.00 star(s) Solid Course Good distance shots, decent elevation changes, First 7 holes are pretty open, the rest are heavily wooded, challenging course, variety of different shots (Doglegs, tunnel shots, etc.). Pro and Am Tee Pads on most holes. Open putting tee for practice. Course navigates fairly easily...

Would you attempt a 300' drive over water?

Nah, the disc I would use for this is the disc I wouldn't want to lose. I'll find another way around.

    Hazards on the course

There is this course Brookside here in Indianapolis, beautiful park but it's pretty ghetto, some disc golfers actually found a dead body while looking for a disc recently. One hole is right by the basketball court, so if you hit one of them dudes it's curtains....I'd call that a hazard. Every...

Review by Victory33 in course Dr. James A. Dillon Park

3.50 star(s) Great Course, Bad Grass! Full 18 and practice hole with multiple tees, also multiple hole locations which change frequently. Beautiful park and pond. Fun hole locations and many different kinds of shots required. Really unnecessarily high grass which prevents viewing the holes and makes finding...

Go in the creek off of hole 3 and find my champ leopard! Although the water was high and I was playing in the rain, so it's probably half way to Indy by now.

Indy golfer here....I mostly play in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. www.Dgcoursereview.com is a great site to check out for some decent reviews of the Indiana courses.

Who's still waiting for their first ace?

No Ace here.....the fourth time I ever played was my probably my closest. I parked it like a foot shy of the basket....had a perfect line, just dropped at the end. Well, I hit chains on this joke of a hole near me, but it was seriously like 100 feet, they have since moved that basket much...

Your Longest Non-Ace Shot That Hit The Chains

I was playing a 330 hole, my first drive hit a tree about 120 feet down the way. I was bummed, cause I knew it was another par at best. Shot was off to my right so I pulled out my Dx Stingray and threw it a lot harder than I needed too with some hyzer on it. As soon as I let it go, it felt good...

Yeah, I got a Wizard, Aviar, Banger GT for putters. I will look into the Gazelle and Cyclone, thanks for the info!

    Want some new discs advice...

I throw my drivers anywhere from 250-320...still working on consistency. Always working on my drives.

    Want some new discs advice...

I'm still fairly new to disc golf, but I've been collecting a bunch of discs lately, because I love trying it all. I've got the overstables drivers: Wraith, Surge, Double D I've got the understables: RoadRunner, Leopard, Beast (beat dx) Midrange: Roc, Shark, Stingray The discs I've been...

Review by Victory33 in course Crestmont Park

4.00 star(s) Fun Course, great layout Great elevation changes on every single hole. Some difficult shots between trees and around a creek. Good mix of open shots and wooded shots. Some very unique holes and angles, dual tees on multiple holes. Horrible gravel tee pads...covered in mud after rain, can't even...

Review by Victory33 in course Karst Farm Park

3.00 star(s) Good 9 Hole Course Mostly open shots with some moderate elevation changes on almost every hole. Well kept course, with some longer holes and some shorter/possible ace holes. Minimal chance of losing discs. Only 9 holes, no multiple tees. If your in Bloomington give this course a shot, it's...

    Help pick an understable mid

I'll second the Stingray...that is probably my favorite disc. More memorable shots with that disc than any other.

    Banger- GT.. worth checking out?

I love the Banger Pro-D. It is my favorite putter, pretty predictable and just seems to find the chains whenever I need it. I pass over the Aviar and the Wizard for the Banger. It has a great feel to it, and fades just in time.

Review by Victory33 in course Northwestway Park DGC

3.00 star(s) Pretty Decent Dual Tees on certain holes, some decent variety on holes, a few unique holes, and a few longer holes can make the difference in score. Near walking paths so you might have to wait on people walking by. Not much elevation, can get pretty muddy. Really high fields in some areas make...

Review by Victory33 in course George Washington Park

4.00 star(s) Great Course Variety of different types of shots, some decent elevation changes, lots of trees, some very unique holes (17). Not too busy most days. Good layout, considering the space available. In a rough area, but the course feels pretty safe. Can lose disc easily on a few holes. I like this...
