Slight weight change a big deal?

Thanks for the advice, I was able to get my hands on a digital scale and the disc weighs 166.0 grams but is penned at 165. I found one I like a lot and it's penned at 163 so I think I might go for it as I haven't found anything else closer to the color/foil/weight I want yet.

Slight weight change a big deal?

I am replacing a champion road runner that I've Aced with twice (don't wanna lose it) and want to get another one just like it. It is a 165 grams. Is going down or up 1 or 2 grams going to affect much of anything in how I expect the disc to fly and such or will I notice such a small difference...

    Ace Trophy, award, bag patch?

Well I haven't been able to find a replacement for it and I know this is gonna be hard to believe but I aced again with the same disc at a different course today in my first tournament, best part is there was an Ace fund and I won $54! 2 Aces in 5 days, unreal!!!!

    Ace Trophy, award, bag patch?

I don't feel it's a right of passage but you gotta get pretty stoked about your first ace right? I just wasn't sure if there was something most people do as I am still new to the sport. I think I'm gonna retire the disc once I order a replacement and I did take a picture of it from the tee box...

    Ace Trophy, award, bag patch?

So I've been playing about 3 times a week since April and I hit my first ace yesterday, super super exciting! Hole is about 180-220 ft long and hit it right off the tee (on my only tee shot of course, didn't tee off with multiple discs or anything) The question I have is what to do celebrate...

When am I ready to go to a higher speed distance driver?

Went and got a new putter (still an aviar but not in the champion plastic) and played a round using only it at my local 9 hole, shot a +5 and took at least 5 practice putts on various lengths after finishing every hole. I guess that's progress, will try and not use the road runner for at least a...

Replacing disc go with same weight?

I am replacing a champion roadrunner I lost today. It has been working really well for me but went into some nasty rough today and is a goner. It was a 170g. It seemed to work pretty well for me so should I stick with the 170 range? Possibly go down to a 165g or up to a 175g. I've been playing...

When am I ready to go to a higher speed distance driver?

Yeh I wasn't trying to compare it with my other round. I wouldn't expect to be able to shoot the same score using only a putter as I can with other discs. So should I be shooting putter only rounds or something else, guess I'm getting a little confused. I thought shooting putter only rounds was...

When am I ready to go to a higher speed distance driver?

Well I played 2 rounds of nine today at my local course and the first nine I played essentially for "2 players". One of the players I played as I normally would using whatever disc I thought I needed. The other I only used the putter for each and every throw and averaged a bogey on each hole for...

When am I ready to go to a higher speed distance driver?

I appreciate all the advice, I do feel however that may road runner (9 speed) keeps getting better and better and adding distance the more I use it, do you think I should put it back in the bag so to speak and just work on fairway drivers and mid range discs? I am definitely hearing what...

When am I ready to go to a higher speed distance driver?

I've been playing 3-5 times a week for a month now and started with a fairway driver champion TL(7,5,0,1). I then moved to a distance driver champion Krait(11,5,-1,2) , and for the last 2 weeks have been using a distance driver champion road runner (9,5,-4,1). I realized I was reading the...

Review by dasteve003 in course Bourissa Hills

4.50 star(s) A great 9 hole course! Just possibly my favorite course. I'm very new to the game and have only played 5 different courses so consider that as your reading this review. This course is great for beginner's in my opinion (as I'm one and love it). Holes 2, 3, 5, and 9 have some good length to...
