In Johnson City Alpine Ski Center has the best selection of discs. They even have a used bin so you can offload what you don't want or pick up some good finds. My 14 year old loves going there. Lots of cute young girls work there and Mike the manger is a great guy.

As you develop your throwing Unionstache discs can also start to throw very differently for you. Example: If you get the beginner friendly stuff on the DG Flight Guide, it will keep going further right the more you improve.

I just got the Elite Z 10 pack, I calculated it. I only have to score 4 of the 10 as something I want to more than break even on them. Since I like Discraft Discs the most, I should be golden, and I like the mystery anticipation factor.

forgiving with a little kick
Simple 9 hole course, good for a starting player, wooded enough to help you cut your teeth. This would also be a good course to test out a new disc on as it has short and long shots to try it out.
