Fatmax seems to be one of the best ways to go. Since you get can them in up 40 ft.

Uh, careful there. Don't bring it to courses that are on school grounds, for example.

I brought a high power slingshot and a bag of rocks to the course today. I hit the disc 6 times and its still ****ing stuck!

I would say a chainsaw.
Slingshot is a good option. Everything else[water bottle, baseball, other discs, hockey puck] will eventually get caught in the tree. Seen it happen.
I got a brand new stiletto stuck in a tree today and I just couldn't get it down. I nailed it with a rock but it was stuck to good and its too high to poke it out with any kind of stick so I'm wondering if anyone else has any ideas.
sorry dude - buy a replacement and move on.
