Almost stepped on this cool little dinosaur.
Sandhill cranes were a rare sighting 10 years ago. Now it seems like there is a pair hanging out at every park.

Not exactly critters on the disc golf course, but certainly evidence of critters
I know that tree, Woodsboro hole #4 long basket? I have hit that tree before and nothing sprung out.
Close! Clark's Run hole 15, just past the stream.
I will keep an eye out for woodpecker trees next time I hit Woodsboro.
I haven't keyed it yet, but a pretty cool moth. [emoji41]

Nature's camouflage never ceases to intrigue me.
Seen the tiniest turtle I've ever seen on hole 18 of Stoney Hill Garnett today. Barely bigger than a quarter.
Looks like a baby snapper.
But I suspect it's a pond slider turtle, or something related, just from the stripes on the legs. I'm far from an expert, though, and we have both kinds (and more).
