There's Tarantulas aplenty at Watson right now. Big ones(females)! Also at the field I practice at every morning there is a Red-Tail Hawk that sits atop the field goal uprights hunting the many Cotton-tailed rabbits around. Yet to see him/her get one but I've seen her try and have picked up a couple flight feathers lost during attempts. Also, also Swifts and more Swifts.
I did not see the critters, but something gave me 70+ mosquito-like bites all over my torso over the weekend.
Maybe that nap in the grass between rounds was not a good idea....:doh:
I'm startled to have two fearless or clueless armadillos wander out, about 5' away. Strange critters when you don't see them on a regular basis. I had to keep stomping in their direction to run them off so I could throw into the woods on the other side of the fairway.
A lot of people call them chiggers in the south.
