haha, we'll see. mostly i'm just worried because i'm seeing turn on these out of the box. not a lot - just enough so that it winds up directly in front of me whether it goes 400' or 450'. everyone around here says a "good" destroyer is stable/overstable so i was concerned maybe i had a "bad" one.
so naturally i searched through ALL of the threads, read the entirety of this one and the others regarding various tops. my rims are convex/rounded so that seems kosher, despite the flat tops producing a "ridge" of sorts on it that you can feel but not really see.
all in all, it was pretty cool to throw these since my P-DD2 turns a lot more and it's harder to hit that height/angle combo of perfection to get the max distance. that disc does bomb, but with these all i have to do is throw them and stop worrying about it.
if i get rid of them i will let you guys know since they're such a nice light pink color.
i DO get a kick out of saying i have a pink destroyer.
here are my new buddies
yeah, i know they look suspect with that ring of color around the ridge. i was reading that there was a run of "vulcan topped destroyers that weren't really vulcan topped". i assume these tops are just flat so you can see that ring. the rim's convex so i am pretty sure i'm good.
the black one is flattish with a small dome and the blue one is flat.
