Disc golf and Youtube

The amount of people making excuses for a bad product is disheartening. People will endlessly complain about the flashing on their disc, or a lack of product on the shelves, but the second they turn their attention to an issue that's been fully propagandized, they loose their ability to critically think. Now somehow we deserve to be bombarded with ads? Not only did the website function without ads in the past, it was profitable. Apparently too profitable.

Normally, with other competitors in the market, the consumer would be able to choose the provider that offers the best viewing experience. Unfortunately, Google/YouTube have suppressed the competition enough that they can fully dictate the experience without fear of loosing viewers. As their power has grown, it's not just the ads that have increased, it's also their ability to control the viewer's perception of the product.
