[Discraft] Forehand Drone and OS Nuke

If you get an Avenger SS, Try the FLX versions. They seem to be the most stable of the Avenger ss plastics. Plus I find the grip of the flx helps with consistant releases esp when you try and hyzer flip it FH.

Like I said before The force is really good, but I love the Avenger now. It has a shallower rim and feels better in my hand. Best thing you can do is find some ppl on the course who has these discs and fondle them and maybe they will let you test throw them as well.

Well fwiw I throw bh/fh too and have taken fh seriously for maybe 1/4 of the time I've been playing, and I like to think I figured a thing or two out about that throwing style. But everyone knows you can't fh drive putters unless its a zone, this is proof.

This is cool, man. I'm all about finessing any plastic. Your FH putter game is cash (and I never doubted that); you've got great touch. All I'm saying is don't be so narrow minded and tactless about other peoples' styles and approaches to the game. Best of luck to you. Seriously.

You're dumb...you know that how long it took me to have an ace has nothing to do with my skill level?

How many aces do you have? Wanna have a pissing contest? Piss off dude.

Not to mention I was pretty damn casual about the game for the first 5 years of playing . . .

Lol. "Urd umb." You're hilarious, man. I'm rollin' over here.

"you know that how long it took me to have an ace has nothing to do with my skill level?" -- said no one ever.

"Not to mention I was pretty damn casual about the game for the first 5 years of playing . . ." Who plays casually for FIVE YEARS? Are you David Bowie? Are you incredibly slow? Casual players hit aces alll theeee timeeeee!!1 Well, MOST of them, anyways. But, hey, you got those two aces in a two-week period. Congratulations, sport. You know what they say about a broken clock.

Don't be surprised when people return your dickdom, man. You wanna send it, send it, but don't be a six year old about it.

Imo, statements like,
If you arent able to accomplish ___ with ___, then you suck, arent constructive.

Where do people come up with arbitrary distances and discs to hit them with, and why do they feel qualified to make someone else feel like crap because they play differently or havent reached the point of progression in their game that some of these people seem to think they have?

Anyway, Op, pred and avenger are good suggestions for what youre looking for.
Force is also a longer option that will have a reliable finish.

There a several non DC options as well, destroyer, Boss, DD, DD2, quasar, halo, PD
OS enough to be reliable for someone who isnt a fh specialist, but workable at high speeds for a little extra D before a hard fade.

It's cute, you're getting all emotional over an internet forum:) I'll be a child while you give people bad advice.

Don't turn this into a Cyclone/UPS type feud, just get off my dick.

My favorite thing about forum arguments is that neither side will admit they are butt-hurt despite both parties obviously being butt-hurt. Either party could just walk away and ignore it like an adult but it's mighty important to have the last word.

The best thing about the mike c putter ion thing is still freaking american football. ahhh i could listen to them all day, and i pretty much do.

plus i guess he can flick those putters alright :| ;)

anyways, the real point here is, i can forehand a magic better than all of you :| that's the point of this thread right?

*flexes e-muscles*

I think people are taking my ace(s) comment out of context....as soon as I stated it took me 7 years to get an ace is when I was discredited by kingery; it was most definitely a rhetorical question.

Of course I'm not thrilled he's talking **** to me, but I'm not buggin' out over it, either.

i first started with overstable discs and recently have been tryin to flick understable discs, but i can flick gators 330 on straight hyzers and have trouble with understable discs for FH. for me it was a lot easier to stick with overstable discs for FH and keep the understable discs for bh shots. everyone is gonna tell you to try understable discs for FH, but for me its a lot easier to stay with overstable disc for FH and learn backhand for straight shots and understable discs. yea you can flick understable discs straight and get good accuracy with em. but its gonna take a lot more time to master it. stick with overstable disc for forehand and learn how to throw backhand. learning how to throw backhand is a lotta fun and will improve your game, but for now stick to overstable stuff for FH( gator/drone for midrange and any overstable drivers will work for distance)

Ok just to clarify...Are you telling me to fondle the people? If so, how long should I fondle? Is the any good techniques? FH or BH?

Thanks for the insight. I wasnt trying to lean so much towards discraft. I think that may just be what Ive been using most recently. Deffinatly interested in other companies. I have a PD in the mail already and ill look into those others your suggested.

Also, Kingery and GripEnemy...I dont know how it even got started but I thought you guys both gave me some good advice and I dont doubt either of your skills. Thanks for the help!

S-PD > Avenger in my opinion. You should love that PD that is coming in the mail. C-PDs replaced all my preds. All you need now is a force or destroyer.

i bought the pd to continue to develop my bh drive. I was looking for a straight distance driver and it doesnt need to said that it gets rave reviews on here. I bought it in the P line, as ive head its the straightest of the pd plastics. I deffinatly didnt buy it to be a FH driver but ill have to try it for that too. When i was looking at this disc i was also considering the avenger for that same niche. Since ill now have a pd in my bag would it overlap too much to get an avenger too?

Yes they will overlap quite a bit. Theyre similar discs but not clones of each other, throw both, see what you like about each of them and pick one based off of which one fits your game better

I use a Star Destroyer for most of my forehand drives, and it works wonders. I think TECHNICALLY a Star Destroyer is overstable, but if it is, it's not be a whole lot. You can work all sorts of lines with it, and it's a great disc for forehanding. Never tried a Nuke OS aside from the one time I threw my buddies...it wasn't bad, but I didn't see any advantage to it over a Boss, honestly.

I say use what ever works for you. I flick a 180g River for straight shots, and a 168g Pred for hyzers. I have a friend that's only been playing for 4 months, and he can flick a Nuke OS out to 500-525 (legit). The rest of his game sucks, but he's awesome to play a round of dubs with on a long course.

Biiiiig flex im assuming? Thats pretty impressive either way. But, as said before, his flick is effed unless he can also get a teebird 400

I agree, with proper form you should be able to flick anything. And yes, BIG flex, but surprisingly accurate. If the rest of the guy's game improves, he's gonna be a beast.
