If You Could Only Carry 5 Discs - Which Do you Choose and Why?

Soft Neutron Proxy
Soft Neutron Envy
Cosmic Electron Envy
Plasma Servo
Plasma Crave

Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Star Tern- Max distance
Proton Fireball- Overstable stuff
Titanium Vulture- Stable Workhorse
SP Squall- Neutral mid to fairway that can cover different lines
Medium Pilot- Putting and approach

Hard Roach - shorter drives, upshots, putts

ZFLX Zone - shorter flex drives, upshots, wind

Z Buzzz - workhorse whether 5 or 25 in the bag

Z Sting - U.S., hyzerflips, right moving

Z Stalker - straight to hyzer flights

Missing discs faster than 7, but I can play almost as good without the higher speed stuff.

I would miss the variety I get by throwing different plastics, condition more than I would miss the drivers.

K3 Berg - approach, putt, utility
Fuzion Truth - line shaper mid-range
Neutron Relay - Controllable, able to power down
Goldline XXX - forehand workhorse
Neutron Wave - BH/FH distance

500 FX-2 = wind fighter

Opto X Glimmer Saint = workhorse line shaper

Opto Fuse = Flippy boi

Cosmic Neutron Envy = Gap hitter

Retro Keystone = Putter

To make this interesting (at east for me), I'm gonna go with no more than one disc from any manufacturer:

Wizard
Buzzz
Leopard
Sword
Wave

And now for a five disc bag, exclusively using the Ace Race versions of discs:
2009 ESP Focus
2008 ESP Nebula
2012 Z Zombie
2013: Ti Mantis
2014: Z Heat

Easy:

1. KC Pro Aviar - throwing, upshots, putting
2. KC Pro Roc (stable)
3. KC Pro Roc (flippy)
4. Champ Teebird - Stable drives
5. Champ Valkyrie - Flippy drives

Easy:

1. KC Pro Aviar - throwing, upshots, putting
2. KC Pro Roc (stable)
3. KC Pro Roc (flippy)
4. Champ Teebird - Stable drives
5. Champ Valkyrie - Flippy drives

Almost the same for me except

1. KC Pro Aviar - throwing, upshots, putting
2. KC Pro Roc (stable)
3. KC Pro Roc (flippy)
4. Fresh Orion LF - Stable drives
5. Beat Orion LF - Flippy drives[/QUOTE]

Why have a teebird and a valk when the OLF starts as a better teebird and beats into a better valk [emoji3]

10/9/19 :

Curious to dig up my old post...I know my last one in the "3 disc" thread is from over five years ago.

Berg
Comet
Teebird
Roadrunner
Firebird

Clutch
Buzzz (missed you buddy!)
Drone
Valkyrie
Xcaliber

Ooh good question.

1. Pro Katana (bomber/understable driver)
2. Champ Firebird (overstable driver)
3. Westside Harp (overstable approach)
4. Star Aviar P&A (straight/anhyzer approach)
5. Eraser Warlock (putter)

In no particular order...
1) Champ Firebird (enough said)
2) DX Valkyrie (love this disc. Got it from my son as a Christmas gift and it flies so darn good. Long S shots or hyper flips)
3) Maiden putter (it's just the putter I use)
4) Z line Zone (found in the water and has come to be a trusted disc.)
5) Champ Tern. (Just got this disc and I'm really loving the drives I've gotten so far)

Luna
DX Roc3
DX Thunderbird (so good and so versatile on BH)
G* Firebird (so good and versatile for FH, BH, and thumbers)
Pro Boss

RHBH and nothing too fast for me...

Discraft ESP Comet - could play with only this disk - would like this in Zflx
Discraft Zflx Heat - predictable and workable drives
MVP Neutron Relay - when I need a RHFH flick/fade and long handshake putts
Innova Star Mako3 - when the Comet isn't cooperating
MVP Proton Soft Ion - putt of choice

I'd do my Fission Volt, Neutron Envy, ESP Buzzz, Z Buzzz and probably my X Soft Challenger.

Iron Samurai MD3 - Very versatile disc. I can throw it on any line up to 320 feet.
Links - Both my main putter and main throwing putter :)
Royal Rage/Color Glow FD2 - My favorite fairway driver ever! Feels so good in my hands and if I have a chance to throw it I reach for them.
Enigma - My distance driver of choice these days. I used to bomb lightweight Cloudbreakers but I'm loving the max weight Enigmas for big distance.
2020 Heimburg Destroyer - My overstable distance driver of choice. Will pop up to flat for me with a predictable finish. Also one of my favorite discs ever.
