I have several star Coyotes. They are more stable and handle wind better than a Fuse or Mako. Great disc for low power or straight shots with a consistent gentle hyzer finish. The P-MD-2 is more stable than the Coyote.
Yeah I tried the 1st run mako. It was too neutral and straight for me. I like to work lines and always felt a disc needs a hint of low speed fade to do that. The mako was perfectly straight out of the box. I am tempted to get one again as they are probably great discs to clean up form with.
Opti you should try a C-MD2. from what I have heard it is basically a better coyote/mako
That's a legit complaint. Mako's are ridiculously straight flying discs over a surprisingly wide range of speeds. Since the rim/wing is so similar to the Coyote, I thought it might feel nice in your hand, which is a big determining factor in how I choose my midranges. They're all easy to control, but some just feel right...
not with words like "higher dome"
is it me or does that sound suspiciously a lot like the MD2?
beefier rim that's easy to release... i'm guessing they mean it's a plus mold. blunt nose just like the MD2..
