noobs at great lengths

How long? Simple:

1) Google "Grand Canyon"
2) Get driving directions
3) Check the estimated driving time

You are never going to 800 foot drive. Thats not important, having fun is.

Edit: Tips can be found in the technique forums.

Welcome to the greatest addiction in the world.

And you should reach 800ft the day after you pick up a champion Groove. :hfive:

I'm surprised that by your second post you are not driving at least 400ft. (Interwebz distance). Welcome to the site.

" Internet distance " can be achieved in a short amount of time.
Make sure you pick a convincing disc, something really fast, and then just provide blurry video.
After a week, tell people your discing down.

First you need to get rid of any oat. Best way is throw sonics until you hit 600, no mids or drivers before that. Once you learn to get the nose down and get your leopard to about 750 on a hyzer you can step up to a distance driver, not warp speed like a Boss though. A wraith is a good driver for 800ish feet. Well something like that any way.

Get a birdie, not the putter, but an actual flying chirping crapping bird and throw it as hard as you can, I'll bet dollars to doughnuts it goes the distance for you.

You have to build your game from the ground up. Literally, the ground up. Start by working your roller shots. Once you have those out to around 40-50 feet, then go pick them up and throw them again. Once you have them out to around 60-70 feet, you're ready for the Aerobie Ring.
