Raleigh NC

Olorin's review of Green Pines in Knightdale almost made me cry..."Sadly, the course seems like an abandoned child left on Raleigh's doorstep. It's being neglected and may be dying. I always thought this course had lots of potential, but it just never caught on, partly because it's only 9 holes."

Does this course truly have potential and might it be worth the time investment, or should we just let nature have it back?

It was really bad when I played it last year. I just wondered if it had the 'bones' for something good.

I think with the tennis courts and pool, the man made structures just make it not great to work with. I've also heard it's not up for reconsideration by the Knightdale Town Council...I guess mainly they are not willing to maintain it.

We really need one more course in east Wake. Sunshine is fun, but we need a public one.
