I did notice that I lose a lot of control if I take my eyes off my target and it helps me keep the discs nose down if I target a spot on the ground somewhere between me and the basket along the path I want to take.
That's actually a pretty good idea. That's how Jack Nicklaus used to line up his shots and he did pretty well!
As for field work, I'd would just stress again working on getting your hyzer/anny angles right. Cuz if u can keep from turning your shots and get them flying straight, u'll see a corresponding gain in distance (and accuracy).
