Rats! I knew I should have came to DGR and read before ordering my first xXx. I went opto but I really like super overstable utility discs to be as flat as can be and able to skip really well. Now I see where the GLs are coming out flatter. Hope I get lucky and my Opto is flat.
Translation: The increase in performance of discs by design is diminished and will not be as sharp as the past 20 years
Translation: The ratio of mass on the outer rim on an MVP disc to the center of the disc is not as high compared to something like an Aerobie ring which has no center at all...
I have a few Magics and they all seem to fly the same to me. At least generally. There are always bound to be small differences bot nothing major.
I actually carry a Glo and an E HPP in my bag. The Glo is generally only used for putting and the HPP for approaches. I recently put a heavier...
DX Teebirds
ESP Pred for my premium
S Magic
D Buzzz
Mids, my normal is hosed so and I would probably want to improve my FH a bit.
Problem is, if I start cycling Teebirds it might not be as cheap as one would think.
I got some more work in with my X Preds yesterday finally and I find it a very interesting disc. Compared to the ESP, it has just a little more turn, but still very straight and then when it fades, where the ESP would kind of drop a bit and skip, the X Pred seems to stay in the air more giving...
lol Thats funny.
I also noticed that early on, they were talking about seeing if Nikko wanted to make it a signature disc and I dont see Nikkos name on the new stamp. im not sure what that says about the disc when their own pro doesnt seem to want to put his name anywhere near most of their...
Do you think it would fit between a Fuse and a Hornet? I've kind of poo-pooed the Scout because I am pretty vested in those 2 discs, and I dont really feel I need something in the middle either, but it might at least be worth a look.
lol thats funny. I was joking around at the other board that if I happen to love the Scout for some reason, I will have "Wicked Game" stuck in my head every time I throw it. Now, Im thinking I hear that when I toss my Magics.
Its a little bit of both. Mainly just my description, but I really dont know much about how discs are made. The only reason I pay attention to the parting line is to see the PLH. Sort of became a little habit for me after seeing some molds fly a bit differently.
It just looks shotty to me.
I was looking to see if it matched up anywhere, the top piece just seems bigger. I wondered if they were trying to make them domey on purpose and failed.
I will commit to Magics, Fuses, Hornets, Rivers and Preds for a year; which will be weird for me since I seemed to chang out my bag weekly last year, but I think that really hurts your game.
I will; however, be testing some disc, but mainly distance drivers I have not really put into the bag...
I have one they sent me a few weeks ago with a package deal I had ordered. I still have not thrown it and really dont have that much interest in it but I guess I will shove this thing in my bag to give it a couple test throws tomorrow.
One thing I noticed about it right away, is it looks like...
