I've decided that all online disc golfers are all just $ hungry scam artists... even us.

making things blueberry with rit dye
calling pro rocs "sb" rocs
getting a little too lenient on the sleepy scale

really we're all just out to make a buck

It kinda pisses me off. The DG community is made of some of the most chill, accepting, people around. Kind of has a hippy vibe about it. This crap makes DG ugly.

That dude just doesn't have a clue. He set reserves on all of the listings but doesn't even have the sense to write anything relevant in the title.

I entered some bids on a few of those discs just to see if I could pass the reserve, no such luck. I'm guessing he wants $200 for the 1 of 25 super rare "might be mint" CE Eagle!

From the picture it looks like that eagle has a sunken in flight plate... thanks to that guy for only loading one picture.

I'm old school, so IMO true blueberry is old ce valks.... I'd say no, that looks like a nice eagle for anyone, but nothing special.

It's s catch word for nice old dark blue CE valks. It's now used mostly as a marketing gimmick. nothing special...

Blueberry Valks aren't dark blue. They're light blue. You can read all about them in the pdga collecting thread.

yes, i know all about a true blueberry valk, i've seen plenty. at the same time, i really have no problem with whoring out any of my blue discs as blueberry because there's not really any good reason not to. you can clearly see the color, and judge for yourself. there are 3 clear pictures in different lighting for that very reason. $22 is pretty close to going rate for a nice new 11x anything, regardless of the color...

IMO and I dont claim to be an expert only the first picture in the post you linked is blueberry. Mostly opaque blue/purple color.

I wouldn't call that light blue :?

Are 11x Eagles actually considered to be worth extra? They're still widely available at the CDGS or at least were when I was looking through the Eagles a couple months ago.

None of the pics in the 1st post I linked to are True Blueberries. I just picked the post that was the beginning of the discussion. You need to go to the next page of the thread and look at what Rickb posted. In fact, Rick does the majority of the posting on understanding what a true Blueberry Valk is (hint: There were only about 200, so most people that claim to have a Blueberry don't).

For those too lazy to look:

His postings are quite a good read; I'm going to ask him if he'd like to write an article on the Blueberry Valk for Disc Golfer.
