Great video. The bag looked much bigger than I thought at first, but then I remembered that it has a bigger main compartment than the Grip and the two additional side pockets. And that you yourself weren't quite as heavily built (read: fat) as I am... =)

srsly,this bag is what i wanted the "other" bag to be. extra room,dnt have to skimp discs, looks well built and well thought out. good job kai.

now i need color swatches of fabrics so i can decide

Polyester seems to be pretty common in all sorts of bags (like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2AUb78DU18), and one specific application I found of water resistant 600D polyester was tenting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjPq6xcKUc8). Motorcycle racing suits are also available in both Cordura (= nylon = polyamide) and polyester, so I think it's fairly safe to say it'll hold up.

On the video he says it's made of tarpaulin, though what specific kind is unknown.
