Ask me a DG question.

Do you listen to music while playing casualy? If no and you and I were randomly playing and I was listening to music would you a. tell me to stop b. only tell me to stop if you didn't like the music, or c. let me listen to it.

Hey Bradley. Thanks for doing this. It isn't that often I get the chance to converse with a top level player and pick their brain.

I am having issues with the short lunch breaks we get in between rounds. I've already figured out that I need to bring my lunch because who wants to spend half their lunch break in a car fighting traffic, but I'm still working through issues on what types of foods our body needs to perform best. If I don't eat enough, I'm low on energy during the 2nd round and am distracted(because I'm still hungry). But if I eat too many carbs all my blood goes to my stomach and I play like crap the first half of round 2 while my body attempts to catch back up. Do you recommend any meals in particular to give you energy for round 2 and avoid that sluggish feeling?

Thank you!

Do you think aces are bad shots?

No and (C) but If I didn't like your music I might avoid rounds with you.

Perhaps practicing before events the way the event is going to be scheduled. Start around the same time, do a 1hr break then another round. If not, I shrink my meals in general now. I don't need much to feel satisfied, so I like to eat some protein and veggies or fruits in the morning with a hole 9 small meal(Which most people call "Snack"). Try that and let me know your opinion.

You're welcome and thank you.

Do you think aces are bad shots?

Perhaps... if the disc would have missed, and you judged it would have ended poorly, then I'd lean towards it being bad. The majority of my aces were shots that flew on a great line but much too aggressively. I think spike aces are pretty legit.

Bradley, I was told you would be willing to try out some MVP discs. Are there any that sound particularly interesting to you? I could send some your way if you're interested.

How do you feel about caddies? From reading this thread it sounds like a good caddy might be able to help you a bit with your mental game in some of those tougher tournies.

lol you can't get away with that and NOT tell a story...please elaborate haha!

I thought I did on this thread-- basically don't consume a full bag of dehydrated apricots. Luckily it was our last round, lead card, and the day was beautiful; my card-mates didn't mind waiting on me while I cut my towel into pieces...

I'm in a position to give a fair review, I think the people here would read about their qualities and flaws. If you think something you have fits the bill of discs I currently carry, you could send those or others. I like stable/neutral flights. My most understable disc is still stable for its mold-- (S-RR)

Do you ever drink beer when you play?

I think if you have another person who really knows you, knows your game, habits, etc... perhaps they could save you the crucial stroke or two when they see the obvious signs players can show before they F' up. I don't have anyone who knows my game that well, and I have so many bag habits that without my bag, I'm almost completely lost. Last year I had a caddy for a few events and I didn't even cash-- I lose who I am and what I'm capable of. I have a compulsive personality and I need those small habits with my bag to feel apart of the game.

Do you ever drink beer when you play?

I wouldn't want to drink warm beer or have my cold beer get foamy. I especially don't think the trade off of enjoying a beer should be something I have to nurse/take attention away from my pre throw habits . Other than those reasons, no, because I gave up drinking this past Thanksgiving.

^No Pun intended.

If someone would dye your discs with only star wars or star trek discs, which would you prefer?
