Could easily be the Mercy as well. Shape wise I think the mercy and judge are the closest to a wizard. Flight and stability more the shield but the Wizard has more glide. The dagger I haven't actually thrown I hate how it feels in my hand. I think it's between the judge and mercy if I'm just making a guess.

We don't know everything that went on there or what the contracts looked like etc. To say "thank you gateway and salient" in the same breath would also be diminishing how much he appreciated gateway and how much they supported him.

John E is a class act and reached out to us when he thought about making a change. We tried to match the offer he got from Trilogy but it came down to where could he have the easiest transition and best short term gains. Congrats to John E and Latitude 64.

Never fear tho Cam Todd is going back on tour full time this year and will be carrying a bag full of Salient!! Good luck guys.

I don't see why it matters. It's between him and salient. If the guy is going to continue to tour full time he needs a lineup of discs and a nice bit of backing by his sponsor. I think Lat64 made him a great offer because of how he performed in 2014 and his great character. To speculate on why he didn't mention them is just pointless I think. It's between them and we just don't know why. At least not enough to question the guy's integrity.

I just think it's hasty to assume he is communicating a message. He only threw gateway for a while (not sure how long) and up until the last few months he only threw gateway. If you compare months of a full bag and a solo sponsorship versus a signature disc for a couple of months, it honestly just might not have been that huge of a deal in comparison.

Look at pros in most major sports, they only mention the big sponsors, not all of them.

And it looks like Kilgus gave a classy answer as well. If neither of them are salty about this, I think it's time to put the speculation to bed.

I get that. I think it's just easier when referring to the entire lineup. Maybe they should just make a name for the umbrella and let it be an actual company name.

Regardless, I think it'll be nice for JohnE to have so many discs to choose from. I'm curious what he'll land on. He seems a little more non-conventional than most pros so I wouldn't be shocked to see him throw some less popular molds.

Yeah, it's weird because originally lat was the big man on campus but now DD is doing so much stuff aside from explicitly making discs. The term does feel a little weird but I think it gets unjust and disproportionate amounts of hate.

I'd be shocked to see Lat mold for someone else. As of now the three companies are already in 3 different countries. Maybe if an Asian country wants to get in on the mix?
