Team MVP Spotlight
Christian & Sofie Sandström

Sweden-based Disc Golfer and 2x European Champion Christian Sandström went Pro in 2001, bringing a new style of athleticism to the sport. He set the Distance World Record in 2002 with an 820′ shot, so we can't wait to see what he'll do with GYRO™-enhanced distance drivers. Sofie turned Pro in 2008, racking up a string of wins and top finishes. The Sandströms join Team MVP with a mixed-bag sponsorship which allows them to represent additional manufacturers.

he knows discs... and how to mash them'

Bad move IMO. Nobody wants nikko and he probably wants a mixed bag so mvp picked him up cheap. Hopefully he doesn't tarnish their rep.

Nikko is different I will give you all that, but he is working hard to make this sport something great according to his vision. That is more than most of us can say.

As for what is in his bag, definitely a Motion or two or three. He really loved throwing that disc when I played a practice round with him before the Memorial. He also had some kind of fairway driver that turned over for him. Not sure exactly what it was. That is all that I saw. I am pretty sure every putter he threw was Gateway and that when he was going for big distance he was throwing something from Legacy.

And yes, if he keeps playing the way he did at the Memorial and keeps his focus during rounds, he will absolutely put MVP on the map.
