Course Baggers

Just finished up a 38-hour trip that featured 15 new courses, 216 holes (yes there were 9-holers involved), and 650 miles driven. Feeling it this morning.

Sounds like one of my trips.

You can see all my trips listed in my Road Trips. You can also look me up on FaceBook, I post each course after I play it and a recape when I get home of the trip.

This last week I did a 1156 mile round trip in 32 hours to play 10 courses.

I am looking at something similar this week maybe. We will see. And yes, I am wiped out when I get home. But buy my next day off, I am itching to do it again.

You are either an inspiration or insane. Or both.

I played all the Lake Marshall courses in a morning before moving on to some MD courses for the afternoon. I wouldn't say it takes fitness just stupidity and determination.

oh easily

nobo was 1 of 11 courses played the day i played there

lake marshall was a sunrise round for me as well and took around 3 hours iirc

im not saying i play well but it helps that i only throw 250 and stay on the fairways i also have been a three disc wonder recently so i dont have any extra weight

Sitting on the cusp of 60 y/o, has wrought me the desire to slow down to smell the flowers. My, less than stellar, conditioning plays a role as well. I simply have little desire to play more than two courses in a day anymore. I have other things I want to do with my day, as well. The studs doing more than this, have my appreciation....godspeed kids, godspeed. :p :clap:

I was on course #20 in six days, when this happened. :\.

Averaging over three 18+ hole courses/day for six days in a row, ain't the most athletic feat in the world, but it certainly takes some stamina.

I'm currently driving home after having played 46 courses in 6 days in South Carolina and I'm tired...

27 18+
19 <18
Roughly 110 holes per day

I'll do a full report on the trip board next week...
Well, you picked the right time of year to do it. That place is brutal in the summer.

1st world problems... I've played too many courses too quickly and I'm stuck with no good course to play for my 2,000th...

I thought my 2000th would come in July when I can go anywhere I want but, alas, it will occur before the end of May at a place where there's nothing spectacular I haven't played. Bummer... LOL

You need a broken leg.

You're the first person I've ever told that.

Honestly, I'm probably gonna have to make it The Sinks in Chattanooga. It's definitely going to be in the Birmingham-Chattanooga-Atlanta triangle. But I've played almost everything of note in Alabama and Atlanta. I'm even looking at my list to see which courses I can discredit from myself so I can play more courses before getting to 2,000. LOL

Just make a six-week commitment to revisiting your Greatest Hits. Resist the siren call of that brand-new elementary-school layout, and indulge in some disc golf greatness for a while, before hitting a memorable #2000 and all the new courses after that.

While I appreciate your dilemma, you'll get zero sympathy from me. I haven't been able to play for 2.5 months.

...and counting.

Rehab has been going great, though. Walked for a mile earlier this week. Balance and strength are continuously improving, as is range of motion.

My guess is another couple of months before I can play.
