who is sick of "frolf punks" ruining "disc golfers" reputations?

and not a bad name for a new disc mold. The tuna fish, kinda has a nice ring.

I think the frolf punks opened up for MXPX back in the day. Good band.

i cant believe you gripe about it online instead of schooling those who clearly dont understand where they are. around here when we see yahoos we aggressively call them out and expose their yahoo-hood.

take the bull by the horns and be the change you want to see in the world...er...course.;)

the OC super tones opened for them back in the day and live in concert they stole the show and rocked my face off.

frolf is frisbee golf was made popular on an episode of Seinfeld where George said he wanted to spend his days playing frolf.

actually frolf is throwing a frisbee at a desgnated targets (trees, garbage cans, ect.) In frolf there are no set tees and targets are often created spontaneously. Frolf does not have the organization of Disc golf, there are no rules, penalties, or boundries.

It bugs me that with these morons, its cool to be stupid, and whoever can do the stupidest and most arbitrary vandalism and wreckage is the coolest in their small group of under-developed brains. Unfortunately, it's a contest, more than one competing to be the alpha moron. And when morons compete - well you know.

I chased a group off the course, I knew they pulled out a tee sign and tossed it like a javelin into the woods. I gave them a chance to own up to it, but these scared punks wouldn't take the opportunity to learn. I didn't ask, just told them to never come back again. Otherwise, had they admitted it, I would have had them fix the damage and told them to continue on having a wonderful round at a beautiful course.

Happened on a local course yesterday. A group of about 5 frolfers smelled the scent of their other 5 more frolfer friends and instead of continuing to just throw their discs all at the same time with just 5 to a group they formed a "frolferd" (a frolf herd) and commenced to just start slingin' plastic all at the same time and sometimes missing each others heads by mere inches.

All I could do was sit back and watch this conglomeration of madness while I continued to practice my putting.

sticking to the track and field theme, this summer I saw a frolferd and they were using an old limb to polevault them selves into the cedar trees. Had it not been in the middle of a disc golf course it might have been funny. Then when they were done they stuck sticks in the baskets. I knew one of them so asked him not to mess up the course and explained how hard it is to keep the course nice and as far as I know they stopped.

I haven't had too much trouble, but any little bit is looked down upon by not only disc golfers, but as the public as well.

They are annoying.....drunken mob golfers! To an extent it doesn't bother me..I just wish they wouldn't litter and spray paint everything...its just obnoxious.

I have never seen anyone willfully damage a course in Socal. Graffiti OCCASIONALLY but throwing a sign into the woods or breaking things at the course?

That would lead to a serious ass kicking.
