[Innova] Are you going APE?

Innova Ape

New disc coming out soon by innova. Gonna be a mix between a boss and xcal. Speed 13 Glide 5 HSS 0 LSS 3. Saw a champ proto run today and it felt pretty sweet. Can't wait to get one in the bag.

supposed to be as fast as a boss but more stable... thats what i want to hear, have to keep a brand new boss in the bag at all times, cause i can flip em over when they get beat too much, now i can just get the ape....stoked for this one

they are sellin thses noob monkey discs pretty good. why change your marketing strategy if it works so well?

eh, I never did like Xcals - but not for any real reason
not that the ape'll be any different

*note: there was also an ape thread when the disc surfaced a few weeks ago

because the people that have been playing and throwing their product for years HATE these new drivers (for the most part). and also, the wahoo, vulcan, ape, etc etc will never become a staple in somebodys bag. I'm not against high speed drivers by any means though. But they only need 3 in the lineup, not like 7. (1 overstable, one stable, one understable)

I disagree. It's not like they're just plopping new stamps on old molds. The Vulcan, Wahoo, Katana, and Ape are all drastically different discs.

Titleist makes the Pro V1 for expert golfers. Should they never make a ball that's more forgiving to casual players? Do you think there are threads full of ball golfers complaining that Nike's new putter is going to ruin the game forever?
Why the drama? Throw it or don't.

the first part of what you say there is true, but just because they're different doesn't mean they're needed. andddd...

i never said the warp speed drivers would ruin the game. Thats not the case at all. But crap like the vulcan teaches new players that their horrible form is actually good, because it allows them to throw on an extreme hyzer and itll still flip and fly straight for them. in the long run, its hurting new players' game. but I never said it would hurt dg
