It doesn't fix the main problem with handicap leagues (the most consistent players don't win much). Instead, it's basically just a pure give-away to the players with lowest averages (granted, these are the people who complain most about not winning in handicap leagues).

I am not really sold on the "percent difference from average" rating method since it doesn't really capture the spread of the scores. I reworked your worksheet using z-scores instead: zscore Rating sheet. Using raw z-scores a rating of of +2.0 means that you crushed everyone, and a -2.0...

I don't know if you intend this, but I think that this system to going to really punish players with higher averages. If your averages are based on enough (4+) rounds, then the chances that a player with a +13 average shoots +8 or better are generally going to be much lower than the chances...

Dropping players' worst round before taking the average can help with that too.

When Axiom has a bigger line up or if Innova releases more overmolds, you could code for stability by rim colour and speed by flight plate colour (or vice-versa).
