The thing was called Tunnel of Love. Everyone threw at the basket. Only those who made it would get their discs, and if you made 2 in a row, everyone else formed a 30’ human tunnel to throw thru while we razzed them. It took several rounds to get a winner.
At some point, an 8 year old boy...
GBO last year. Someone took a kid’s putter in downtown Emporia during the putting game where everyone throws at the basket from 30’. His dad pleaded in the middle of everyone. Eric Oakley was running it. He tried to shame, then bribe and ultimately they gave up with a “not cool guys.” As far as...
Was the plastic slick? What color? First Flight or nah?
And when you say you loved the flight, how long did you throw it before it clicked with you?
The reason I ask is most Proline Pipelines fly straight with fade out of the box and will lose that HSS quickly. The new Tour Pipelines are flippy...
I've been bagging the same First Flight Hellfire for 5 yrs, and it's just getting to fresh max weight Tsunami OS, but still more OS with more flare. When I first got it, I thought it flew alot like a Monster.
The Ledgestone Flex Hellfire I got is Flex Pipeline flexy with an almost pop top dome. I checked OTBs stock and it looks like most are domey. I only had a well seasoned Proline to compare it to, but it's plenty beefy out of the box. I'll do some more comparisons with a fresh Proline Hellfire...
The Reef has an Aviar-ish feel. It will fly like a glidey, beat up Aviar. But it's available in base plastic or slick champy SP. If you want something taller, the Titanic is a taller Magnet, and it's available in Proline plastic.
I bag a Squall and a Tremor. The Tremor is Comet-ish, and I prefer it over the Squall for certain turnover lines, particularly the later turning lines. The Squall needs more speed to get it to hold a turn, so in the woods, both discs serve their own purpose. If it was a more open course, I might...
I got a couple LE Proline Flex BLs, and they're... flexy. Maybe a little too much for me. I prefer a stiffer putting putter, but I've been dabbling with these as my driving putter. They're just the tiniest bit more OS than my Stone BLs.
I've gotten to that comfort zone where I'm no longer...
Matt Bell is rocking the new V3 Ridge Roller setup. He gives a shout out in his In The Bag vid. The website has the bag listed, but the pre-sale hasn't started yet.
I like the taller pockets on the new bag. I'd like to know if there are mesh and/or zipper internal pockets. I'd be cool to get a...
Well I tried to give DGA the benefit of the doubt, but I posted that almost a year ago. It's now been 2 years and 3 months since #5 and still no #6. I guess they're quitting at #5, which is sad knowing the original plan was to do 8.
With Matt Bell's In The Bag vid showing him bagging a...
Still loving my Midnight Flyer Hurricane. It pretty much stays in my small bag. I'll add a Proline Flex, and a SP Flex if it's windy, to my big bag. I also have a SP that I really like, but struggle to justify bagging.
The Midnight Flyer is the straightest for me. It's the Hurricane I feel the...
