NC fall trip - Boone or Charlotte?

Harmon has a casual event planned for 4/20. I would like to play there again myself. Let me know if you do and wouldn't mind the company. Really wish that one private course in Boone was playing.

    Holler in the Hills

Really don't think they will be able to get use of that land with the history of the previous owner. I almost didn't post the video because it made me sad to see the destruction as well.

    Holler in the Hills

There was some logging done when the course was closed. Here is some recent footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLT4hlQ8bSo&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR1qXT4RWVhTrVKxbHxVs6l3Ina1alcVDBigMis7Imo74vaQj8I3Y6vVxyw

Suggestions in Western KY and TN, Southern IN and West AR

Holler in the Hills will be open in March. All they are doing now is clean up/play days on the weekends. The Goat Path and Wolf Knob are 2 other private courses in the Central Kentucky area. Both are fun courses, but not the epic feel of Holler in the Hills. All of them are within 30-40...

    Holler in the Hills

Half way to being ready. Bowling Green Facebook page has a post about it. 8 holes with basket and/or pad work and some fine tuning on 2 other holes.

    Holler in the Hills

Would they have to change the name or just have reference to the former owner removed?

    Holler in the Hills

    This is my understanding.

    Holler in the Hills

The new owner wants all reference to the former owner removed and I don't blame her. I would help her if I could, but it is currently listed as extinct. That will have to be updated in the future and I have no idea what that process is.

    Holler in the Hills

Holler in the Hills is going to reopen under new management. They are planning on using it in the Edmonson County Open in March. I'll post more info as I get it. This is what I have to share now. https://www.facebook.com/events/515681315617802/

    Club Bag Tag Etiquette Question

I've started "course tags" for my course. Each tag has a picture of the hole with no number on it. The players who are committed to playing regularly get these tags. I don't charge for them, but expect them to be competed for at least twice a month. I live in the sticks and there aren't a...

    Must play course in Kentucky?

Wolf Knob is a private 9 hole (future 18) that I worked on. It is the closest course to Mammoth Cave. You will have to check in at Lincoln Trail Outfitters/Hickory Cabins Store. I am still a few weeks out from being able to cut The Goat Path, but I may have someone else work on it. I will...
