Harmon has a casual event planned for 4/20. I would like to play there again myself. Let me know if you do and wouldn't mind the company.
Really wish that one private course in Boone was playing.
Really don't think they will be able to get use of that land with the history of the previous owner.
I almost didn't post the video because it made me sad to see the destruction as well.
There was some logging done when the course was closed. Here is some recent footage:

Holler in the Hills will be open in March. All they are doing now is clean up/play days on the weekends. The Goat Path and Wolf Knob are 2 other private courses in the Central Kentucky area. Both are fun courses, but not the epic feel of Holler in the Hills. All of them are within 30-40...
The new owner wants all reference to the former owner removed and I don't blame her. I would help her if I could, but it is currently listed as extinct. That will have to be updated in the future and I have no idea what that process is.
Holler in the Hills is going to reopen under new management. They are planning on using it in the Edmonson County Open in March. I'll post more info as I get it. This is what I have to share now. https://www.facebook.com/events/515681315617802/
I've started "course tags" for my course. Each tag has a picture of the hole with no number on it. The players who are committed to playing regularly get these tags. I don't charge for them, but expect them to be competed for at least twice a month. I live in the sticks and there aren't a...
Wolf Knob is a private 9 hole (future 18) that I worked on. It is the closest course to Mammoth Cave. You will have to check in at Lincoln Trail Outfitters/Hickory Cabins Store. I am still a few weeks out from being able to cut The Goat Path, but I may have someone else work on it. I will...
I'm having surgery on the 28th. 6 weeks with no disc golf. Sugaree was the first course that I thought of as a "Where do I most want to play before I go under the knife". Looking toward Michigan now knowing it won't be what I was dreaming of.
Its a lot harder than most players think to build and maintain your own course. No matter how much you may want to, you cannot please everyone. Worry about yourself Mando. I like to hear positive comments about my course, but I also welcome critics even if their remarks sting. At the end of...
The front 9 is roughed in and playable. When I get the back 9 in, I will add it in to the course listings. Just didn't want to have to redo the page when it was finished. Hoping expand The Goat Path X-Tier to 2 courses this year.
