large ammo pouch bag for you cheapos

Just got my bag yesterday. I like it a lot and it holds the discs perfectly. The only adjustment I'm gonna make is to remove the small strap that the bag comes with and mount my Fade strap on instead. The strap it came with just seemed too short and I dont really want to feel like a fashion...

large ammo pouch bag for you cheapos

Has anyone had a problem not getting their bag from the armynavydeals site? I ask because I live in NY. I ordered the bag on May 1st and assumed being in the same state, I'd probably have it by now. I did some internet research and was a little worried as I found quite a few different sites...

What should the next disc be named?

The Ostrich. It could have a slogan like this: "After you shoot so poorly with this, you'll want to bury your head in the sand."

    What's your disc golf history?

I had read a bit about disc golf before but had never tried it. Then, last spring, I read an article in my local newspaper about a course opening close to my house. My son and I headed out to check out the course, and since then, we've been hooked.

If you could only have 2 discs.

I'd take a Dx Roc and Dx Gazelle.

large ammo pouch bag for you cheapos

Thanks for the ammo bag idea. I just ordered one earlier tonight. I had been looking for a cheap option to hold 6 discs or so for a little while now. This looks like it will work perfectly on those days I don`t feel like carrying my regular Fade bag. I`ll let you know how it works out.

    Thank you disc golf!

I also want to take a second and say congrats on your recovery and also thank you for posting this. I am now 37 years old and have a very significant heart history in my family. My father and his two brothers were both lost to massive heart attacks. I am not nearly as active as I should be...

    More bag advice

Yeah, you're right about the different plastic blends. My two super softs are both nice with good grip, and they cling to the chains. My soft wizard is more similar to an aviar consistency and is more suited to some mid drives. I have felt other wizards though that felt nothing like mine. As...

    More bag advice

I figured I'd update this since a lot has changed in the past month or so. I've revamped the bag quite a bit to take better advantage of my arm speed. I've improved my drives to around 200-240 feet or so. (LHBH) I've been throwing mids a lot more due to accuracy and am not really losing much...

    Driver similar to roc

I did some distance throwing the other day and am only putting my leopard, gazelle and eagle out about 200-225 feet. I'd guess I put my Roc out to around 175-200 feet, but it seems to be with much less effort. It just feels natural in my hand. I throw LHBH. As for flight patterns, I can get the...

    Driver similar to roc

I've been throwing my Roc for a little over a week now. I love the feel of it and the control and grip it gives me. Is there a fairway driver that is similar in feel that may give me more distance but similar grip and accuracy?

So, anyone going to take out their frustrations about the WC with some dg?

I used to be a huge US Soccer fan, but it's hard for me to keep interest. I could not get enough of the 1994 World Cup and after that, it's mostly been one disappointment after another. We always seem to choke in big games. Not only that, but the amount of acting that goes on on the field...

I've ran across a few rabbits early morning at my local course.

    Newbie bag advice

Thanks bud. I had thought I had been seeing improvement for a couple days but the last 4 or so I seem to be in a major rut. Holes I should be getting par on pretty easily and was for a while, I'm back to bogeying. I realize a lot of that is still the inconsistency that comes with being new...
