FWIW, they used to be made in ESP (and Pro-D ...eww). I loved it for awhile, then it broke into flippy, wouldn't stable out ever. I felt they were longer avengers or preds. Z could be interesting if they don't self destruct like the ESPs did, but I'm long past trying to use them now :)

I carry one in the bag now (it might replace grids for putting eventually). I use it for shots i don't want a KC to hyzer out too early, or a grid/dx to fly too straight. The McPros are my bread and butter for either a two-angle going straight with slight fade, or just a power shot straight...

Those are much thicker than a disc or a hood ;)

I thought carbon was strong with flexing etc. but not with impacts ? I know there are different qualities, but I've seen sooo many cracked CF hoods on Hondas etc ;)

Got my brown spinal tap today. About to call voodoo..... Did anybody else have issues with the umbrella/stool velcro straps tearing off the bag like they weren't even sewn on ? Only one side so far, but the other feels flimsy.

I switched to classics this year for putting :). From what I've noticed, they are flatter across the dome, and have less 'shoulder' on top. DXs usually start out with some pretty big fade (almost same as KCs IME), and the classics start off really straight comparatively.

If the hole has room, I take advantage of heavy headwinds and throw pure hard anny with a stable-stable AJ destroyer :)

^This, and when mine beat to rollers I used a Ch Wraith for awhile...short while. Although now I mostly flick FBs destroyers (where needed) and drones (buzzes/rocs/putters out of the rough though)
