I am an old skinny wuss who is out of shape and afraid of spiders. I enjoy both disc golf and golf. I can throw 270' on my best day. Yet I shoot in the mid 50s at all but the longest of courses. Why? Accuracy and course management. Disc golf, like golf, is a game of accuracy...

Im excited about the QKII, it just feels like I can throw it a long way. Rain has prevented me from testing, I will report back soon.

Another recourse is get to know people in the local club. Club members are always some of the most courteous and welcoming in my opinion. If the club members learn who the jerks are, they will keep an eye out, and eventually the unwanted people will be outnumbered and chased off the course...

I have 2 friends that throw 330-360 off the tee. I throw about 220-240consistently, 280 if i SMASH one. However, they dont always beat me. Here is some advice.
1. Work on your drives to max out your potential. You need to go to a field, and throw drives for an hour or two...
I also personally hate any of the "gimmick" discs, the wheel, (now illegal, for good reason) 10M brick, etc. It reminds me of in regular golf when they have a wedge with ad adjustable loft. No one who is actually good ever uses that stuff, IMO.

I agree with the "pro par" I guess. The problem with using course par, is that there is no consistency from course to course on what a par 3, 4, or 5 is. When I am keeping score in my head, I use 3 as "par" for every hole, and add my over/under to 54 to get my total. That is what I track...

Maybe a surge SS would be worth a shot, and a lot of people swear by the crush. All of those are too overstable for my arm. Look for discs that have high speed and are highly overstable, and they will be the closest to the wraith and destroyer.
