Is there a difference between a disc being a "straight shot" versus a disc being "stable"? I always thought these two meant the same thing
someone wrote something that is making me think otherwise: "the hornet is stable and the buzz is more of a str8 shot"
I play a course that has dirt tees. Currently the tees are a muddy mess, what are the rules for teeing off? ...suck it up and drive from the mud pit (potentially further wrecking the tee) ...or drive next to the tee where there is grass/less mud (potentially making the mess bigger if everyone...
LOL thanks keltik, I suspected as much since I wasnt seeing the same behavior with the new beast - but since i'm still not always consistent in my throws (newbie) I wasnt sure if it was me or the disc.
@keltik actually there is one spot on the rim which is in somewhat bad shape (small chunk missing) from hitting a tree - i dont know if this would cause it?
I should also note that I have a new 170g DX beast, which I can throw about the same distance and it doesnt go off to the left (LHBH). When I mean "go off to the left" i mean it leave my hand to the left, and also seems to hook to the left, and not fall to the right naturally (again, LHBH, not...
@Frank - Well its a 168g DX, hit quite a few trees with it. I can only throw it about 220-230' on a good day (Yes, I've recently learned that I should be throwing slower discs, I've been really digging my 175 DX leopard which i found i can throw about the same distance, with less effort)
