Southern Community Park needs to be an area of concern. It is simply not complete; unless there has been work done there in the last couple of months. Anderson Park on the other hand is more enjoyable to play b/c of all the hard work put in.

I'm thinking of placing a basket and/or a tee pad in the edge of the woods around the "parking lot" for a couple of the holes at Hillcrest to avoid them being completely wide open. If anyone has some layout ideas, shout 'em out.

Holes 4-9 at Hillcrest will be redesigned in the spring and placed roughly where they were before. They will be mostly wide open with length added. There is not a lot to work with, but we'll be as creative as possible with those holes.

Yeah I saw the baskets laying out there just waiting to be stolen. The Parks Dept. has no clue when it comes to disc golf. They need to put them in 1 of the 4 storage buildings they have.

The course will still be there with all 18 holes, but the front 9 is totally ruined. It's funny though, the park put a sign up on the first tee telling the disc golfers that the course will be better when "construction" is complete.

They alternate baskets monthly out there, so the tees you saw were alternates for different basket locations. There are 2 course configurations, novice and advanced. Novice layout - blue tees, blue baskets. Advanced layout - green tees, yellow baskets.
