I traveled with about 8-10 of my friends from Pauls Valley to Pawhuska to play the Lodge courses. Seems like it was about 4 hours one way.

Started with a spider for everything after my tee shot, then learned a little. Now I rarely throw a mid. I bag an Ibex for general purpose and a Blaze for my hard fades.

If you really feel reviews are vital, why don't you review? Not trying to be a jerk, but that's kinda oxymoronic.

So, what's the best course in Ft. Worth?

I hit a shot from about 100 ft out. The basket was uphill, but pretty open. Not really an amazing shot compared to many, but my favorite.

I am just quoting for absolute awesomeness. I have no real aces, no fake aces, 1 field ace and a few hundred putt aces. Well, I guess that depends on your interpretation of field ace. Just how far...?

I started with an Xcal and still use it after 3 years. It's "too much disc" for a beginner, but I had fun! If you want to be a great player, work with your putter and buzz. Please, always remember this is an amazing past time where the one who has the most fun wins. Just have fun!

My wife's extended family will be in Ft. Worth the 26th and 27th of December. Several of us will likely try to hit one course with the possibility of a second. Local advice is much appreciated. PS. We're all just rec level players who play for fun.

Definitely the two courses at the Lodge in Pawhuska, OK. In central Oklahoma, I'd go with Dolese, NE Lions, or Noble. Not all really highly rated, bug all very enjoyable disc golf.
