I don't suppose these discs resemble the Rhino or Hydra, but the cover me pretty well on the same type shots.
Discraft Esp Zone. As previously mentioned.....A great disc for long straight, then hyzer type approaches up to about 150'. Always works great for spike hyzers of the same distances...

Needs redesign!
This course is located in a nice, multi use park. It's less than two minutes off of I-75, along with several stores and drive throughs.
It's almost always empty, so if quiet solitude is desired....this course fits the bill. One of the best local courses to take beginning disc...
I agree on the Sonic. Great upshot disc and finesse putter anywhere from 100' in. The great control and ability to make just about any line have taken 2 - 3 strokes off my rounds.
I generally work a Magnet and a Soft Magnet for most of my putts. They pretty much hold any line I need to put them on and are fairly consistent for me.

As the title says....I'm wondering what the differences are between Discraft's Elite Z and Crystal plastics?
I've gathered from folks around the course and online that Crystal is more sought after than Z....so I was hoping to find out what the big deal is.
I've worn the Targhee II's now since April.
My last pair of shoes were Merrel Moabs.
The comparison of the two saw many different highs and lows.

I've returned many discs, and I think each one builds up "awesome shot" karma. I've had four aces over the past few months. the most recent two were last week on 1-28-11 and then the same hole three days later on the 31st.

Absolutely! incredible disc that is super versatile. Especially in DX plastic. I carry a Star, a Champion, a beat in DX, and a fresh out of the box DX almost always.

I played 3 rounds at one of my local courses today.
I aced #5 during the first round and then again in the second. Same disc each time....different throws for sure.
First time was just a gorgeous throw fading right into the chains.
Second time I turned it over and was sailing...

I never have trusted the inked weights or stickers (which I hate on the disc). As mentioned, sometimes the difference is eye opening!
I'm also pretty tall, not quite 6'8" but tall nevertheless at 6'6".
I started out driving with a Cyclone. I can't see anything wrong with recommending it as it is a great disc, that I still throw often.
