Review by coast2coast in course Moose Mountain DGC

4.00 star(s) Short and fun Well designed and well maintained, the Moose is a great place to play a casual round in the White Mountains. The layout of the course is geared toward the novice with most of the holes being very short. The setting is very nice through woods and fields with a good amount of ups...

Looking to move, best state for disc golf?

California California California. Courses, weather, chicks and lots of other fun stuff. From San Diego to Redwood National Park and everything in between. Believe me.

What can I do to go from 500' to 600'?

I wouldn't worry about it. How many holes do you play that are 600 ft.? Spend the time on putting instead.

Review by coast2coast in course Burgess Park

3.00 star(s) Cape Cod's only course Major changes have happened recently! There are now brand new concrete tile tees on most holes. Course is clean and the rough has been trimmed back in several places. Many signs have been replaced, but lots are still missing. 18 holes. Practice basket, playground and...

    Disc Golf is Socializing

Depends how you play. With even one other player there is a lot of standing around. On your own and briskly walking without taking more than a few seconds to line up your shot it is no different than hiking. Better probably because throwing uses tons of muscles that merely walking doesn't.

I suck in the woods - HELP!

Yup. Disc down. Throw a putter or mid without any run up, and remember to follow through.

Awesome. Not sure why anyone would be paying much attention to the sunglasses.

    Most Underrated Disc Golf States

I think Vermont is overlooked too often. Most are pay to play, and winters are long, but the scenery is beautiful and the courses are great.

Disc Golf in the Grand Caymans?

Yeah. Wow. I hope that was a joke about the Grand Canyon. All kidding aside, I don't think there is a dg course in the Grand Caymans, but Flagstaff AZ is a disc golf town with a bunch of courses.

Review by coast2coast in course Olive Glen

2.50 star(s) Shaded and pleasant Olive Glen is a short beginner friendly course located at the Sycuan Resort. They have turned an old olive orchard into a fun nine holes. Navigation is easy without a map due to the large red metal numbers bolted to the top of each basket and the hole numbers and distances...

Review by coast2coast in course CSU San Marcos DGC

3.00 star(s) Beware of Pedestrians One of the only 18 hole courses around, and a great addition to the very few other courses in San Diego County. The first thing I noticed was the brand new custom Innova baskets with the top band being blue and white (school colors), instead of the normal yellow. These...

Review by coast2coast in course Pine Valley DGC

2.50 star(s) Good design on unique terrain Good signs. Some interesting and creative holes (one basket is in a windmill). Course plays through high desert terrain with boulders, large trees and cacti. Uncrowded (I was the only one there). Three well marked tees for every basket. Reliable course map comes...

Review by coast2coast in course Escondido Rotary DGC

3.50 star(s) Park Course 18 holes with lots of variety plus two practice baskets. Some holes play through manicured parkland while others have a more natural feel. The really nice tee signs provide a map of each hole, distance and par, and they make finding each tee a little easier because they can be seen...

[Other] The definitive best color of a disc is...

Pink is the best. White is just as good unless there is snow. Green and yellow are the worst if there are any trees or leaves at all.

Review by coast2coast in course Goat Hill Park

3.50 star(s) World's longest course? Brand new course with a very friendly staff who wants to make sure your disc golf experience is a good one. The big arms will not be disappointed with the length from the long tees being 9612 ft. The terrain is very hilly and offers many downhill drives and shots across...
