Yeah, if you vote for an Innova Thumbtrac (ie Ringer top) on the Zone, to get lost among all the Slammers, Caltrops, Pigs, etc, that are already available, over the Discraft original design (as far as I know) Banger GT top, you are wrong.
Loving the Glitch for catch (brings me back to what got me all-in with disc golf: catch with an Ultrastar). I'd prefer catch with my Blowfly's, but since most people don't really jive with the feel of those, my reluctance to bag this very niche, one trick pony disc is wearing down. If the Pitch...
Anyone pick up Anthony Barela's Colorshift Undertakers? Don't really care about the flight... just wondering if they're pretty enough for me to stray from buying stock.
Same. I do some woodworking, so I have a full range of sandpaper grits. Progressed down to 440+ the dirt and oils from my hand seem to have filled in the "grain". I'm planning on burnishisng with some heat later, not sure how the hemp plastic will take to it.
Sorry, I'm not following (still working through my first cup of coffee)...
I feel like sanding enough to take off the tooling completely, falls under the 813.01:C,2 :

I've felt that shallow GT on a different Gateway molded disc, by Element...the company must have packed it in. Not finding them online. The Plutonium looks like it was the exact same mold as the Madrone. The disc I got hands on was the Iridium: a Warlock with the track.
I sanded the tooling off some Voodoos. I don't have any sanctioned events on the horizon....but would they be legal? In spirit, I feel like they should be, but that modification does seem to go against the letter:
813.01 Illegal Disc
B. Allowed modifications to a disc after production are...
Just bought a small stack of Voodoos, and I love the feel of the plastic. Extremely rigid, but tackier than my Jawbreaker Roaches. I prefer the slightly lower profile of my Roaches, but I dig the recycled rubber with hemp, so I've been considering switching over. Now I see the Madrone online...
Shot a 1028 rated round at the Wintertime Open, and rating jumped up 12 points to 974. Only notched 2 wins in MA1 but I guess now I'll just have to strive to get last place cashes in Open or MP40.
I played a few holes with Brodie and Mark Salling (some guy from Glee who killed himself), and Brodie was extremely nice and cordial (and not just comparatively against a real d-bag like Salling). This was around the height of his trick shot videos, before getting into ball golf. He's definitely...
Aluminum tubing and fittings used mostly for modular railing and camera rigs for the film industry + old leather bike seat and bike bar end for the handle.
On a tightly wooded course, where only being 3 or so feet off your line could result in a stuck disc, the 2 meter seems punative. On a course that's open or where low lines are available, it makes sense. Trees aren't backboards/pachinko machines.
TDs should exercise the option more often. If...
