    Ambidextrous Disc Golf

I love the idea of throwing a round with each hand. That being said I have a hard enough time getting my putt consistent right handed so I may just do all drive and approach shots with left or right and then putt normal.

    Ambidextrous Disc Golf

I should have searched before posting. Found at least two threads about it. They are old though so maybe some new perspective.

    Ambidextrous Disc Golf

I have been pondering this idea for a while now and I finally decided to give it a go. I was out practicing, doing some field work and realizing that my forehand is abysmal. I cannot seem to figure it out to get power and consistency. In my frustration I decided to try throwing left handed a try...

Review by TylerBrown2 in course Twin Brook DGC

2.00 star(s) Good Place to Practice I played the course with a small group of family who never play disc golf. It was a nice small 9 hole course to casually throw a few discs. The baskets are new and the course was quite empty at the time. They do recommend a donation to play but you can in theory walk up...

Extending Capacity of my "Nutsac" Like Bag

I received this bag for christmas as a gift: https://www.etsy.com/listing/211681248/upcycled-disc-golf-bag?ref=sr_gallery_26&ga_search_query=disc+golf&ga_ref=auto1&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery It is a really nice bag and I am happy with it so far. The problem is I am beginning to...

    Creating artificial obstacle/trees ?

You could also add shrubs and bushes to help shape lines, provide faux elevation changes to clear them. On the other hand I like the idea of a "urban" setup with all non natural obstacles. Piles of pallets, posts, buy a few trailers and park them there. Just really redneck it out. Maybe a few...

    Disc placement question

I've had a burning question about grip as well. When I first started playing I would make sure to get all four fingers on the bottom of the rim. As I did more studying (on here) about grip i realized the plane of the disc in my hand was off because I was forcing all my fingers on the rim. I...

    Is this form beyond repair?

Does it still count if his shield lands in the basket but the basket is now a half mile away from its original location?

    Montreal or Maine

I second everything listed by TeeSquared. I moved up to Portland two years ago and have not played Sabattus but it is on the must play list this summer. If you want some beach time check out Popham Beach State Park.

Do you play solo rounds, and if so how does it change your round?

I am new to the sport and new to Maine so I almost exclusively play solo rounds. I also play solo when I travel for work in other states. The one issue I have had is spotting discs, especially on courses with blind shots. I tend to play courses that are new to me (especially when on the road)...

    Calling it Frolf...

The bird feeder response actually made me laugh out loud. I only like frolf because it is easy to say. The other good point is frisbee is a brand, which i totally get. I do now call it disc golf to anyone new but the friends I play with back home all call it frolf. They do know a hyzer from a...

    Calling it Frolf...

Is this like slapping your grandmother? I was introduced to the game by people who say Frolf. It is quick and easy and people know what the hell we are talking about. If I say disc golf it sounds pretentious. Seems like people on here get butt hurt about it. Is it really that big of deal? I...

    What's your course Foliage Factor?

This post fascinates me. Who knew this much science went into some courses. Seems like some I play were just thrown there but others I can really see how things like this were used to shape it.

I want to add a midrange to my bag...

I bet you and about 15 other people read that and said..."damn i did that". My younger brother did it and now is the proud owner of a groove that we hand to the new guy who throws tomahawks when we play. I learned vicariously through him

I want to add a midrange to my bag...

^Exactly this. Some person buys a 13 speed driver their first week. Comes on here, reads they should use mids and putters, trades it in for those.

I want to add a midrange to my bag...

I can tell you there is never a DX Roc laying around at my local Play It Again. In fact they almost never have any used discs. I wish there was but either they get scooped up or people just dont sell them back here. Also, I don't really care for the bead on the ROC. I may try one at some point...

I want to add a midrange to my bag...

The shark can be fine but if there is any wind or if I even consider using it off the tee it just dives hard to the right. This is all likely do to the weight not the disc.
