I love the groove. With that said I only use it for a few situations. It is perfect with huge wind behind your back, or a hole with serious downhill. Other than that I would never throw it.
Best bag for 8-12 disc is the Gorilla Boy Squirrel Monkey. Has an internal frame, dual insulated drink carriers, rain fly.......best bag I have ever owned!
The best places to get plastic in the springs.
-Kurt Sauder sells discs out of his vehicle by hole#1 @ Cottonwood. Has a great mix of everything you could want.
-BC Surf has an ok selection
-Red Mountain Sports in Old Colorado City has a good selection of mostly Innova stuff.
-Alan at...
I play at 6500 ft of elevation so my experience may be a bit different than most, but the Z nuke is a bomber. It is definietly more overstable than the ESP I have, and with a lot of glide. My experience with the ESP is it is a bit touchy. I have to throw the ESP with a Hyzer angle and let it...
Very good points on the fairway driver. I guess I wouldn't mind a few more scenarios where you guys would use a fairway driver. For example, why wouldn't I throw a Buzz or the Surge SS flat to achieve what you are talking about? It's not that I am opposed to the idea at all, I would just love to...
Also, My boss lives in Montreal and I should be getting out there in the next 6 months and would love to play some DG. Have you ever thrown in Montreal?
-Using an overstable putter for the wind is a good idea.
-I don't use fairway drivers because there is no distance I would be left with that I can't handle using my comet, Buzz, or Wasp. If I need a straight flyer that holds the line, my Surge SS is the disc.
-Wraiths are my control drivers...

I have the Carolina Team Bag in Black and Grey. I have nothing bad to say about this bag. Very durable, but have only had it 3 months now (got the bag at the end of March 2010). It has more than enough room to hold your discs and all the extra gear you need. The reason I am looking to get a...
If you just started and you are making crappy shots and still getting par, the course you are playing is set up very easy. This is not a knock on you, but unless you are natural, DG courses should offer you more of a challenge. WIth that said, master that course and take what you have learned...
Hands down, the best disc for a hyzer flip is a FLX SUrge SS. You want it to go 400 easy and have it end up right? Hole 12 and 18 (pin positions on the right side) at Widefield park are in the 400 ft range and I have parked both holes with the SS.
There are 2 9 hole courses directly next to eachother. 9 holes at Forest Gate Pres. Church has the red portable baskets. Super easy course, a bit of elevation change. The other is next door at the Baptist church and the baskets are all man made. The poles are made of wood, baskets are made of...
I know Discraft has dis-continued the 150 in Elite Z plastic. I know they once made them and would love to get my hands on one. Does anyone out there have one they are willing to sell/trade?
