Doesn't anyone else find it strange that Discraft has Nate Doss & Valarie Doss Jenkins, the first married disc golf couple that are both world champions, and they (Discraft) basically do nothing in regards to marketing them? Common sense tells me if you had both of those players as a long term asset, you would have them doing (weekly, monthly) marketing promos, video tips, sale promos, etc, etc. Nate & Val are basically nowhere to be found on their website or their facebook page. Surely..a company that could apparently afford to pay the one and only Paul McBeth a million dollars could also afford to pay Nate & Val (which would surely be chump change to Discraft) for their time to make marketing/promo videos, etc. What about paying the Doss's to set up a Discraft booth and showcase their brand at some of the more popular disc golf tournaments? Why not pay them both to actually play and represent their brand at select tournaments? (The Doss's could do this and run their brewery by the way imop.)
So for those saying Discraft has all this money to offer Paul, have his own line of discs, etc, etc, etc, guess what... they already have something VERY special in Nate & Val, something that may never...ever...happen again in disc golf, "A married couple that is both MPO and FPO World Champions".
If all the Doss's are getting from Discraft is free plastic and the potential to make some extra money from their sponsor if/when they cash, no wonder they are putting all their time into making beer.
Discraft has all this money to offer Paul McBeth... nah...not buying it one bit.
