For the last five years, the Ledgestone Open, presented by Discraft, has been the richest tournament in disc golf history, paying out over $500,000. Without the great support of the disc golf community, they would never be able to make this happen.

The MPO side will be held at the ultra-challenging Eureka Lake temp course and the Northwood Gold Course. The women's side will play all four of their rounds at Sunset Hills. All three of these courses featured at the 2019 PDGA Pro Worlds. Both the men and women will be challenged to perform at the highest level to claim the Ledgestone crown. The 2020 event will once again boast a payout north of $100,000 assuming a full field of players.​

Between the beauty that is Peoria in the summer, the great support of the local community, and the fundraising skills of the Ledgestone staff, the Ledgestone Insurance Open, presented by Discraft, promises to be one of the highlights of the Pro Tour season.

Live Coverage will be provided by the DGPT and DGN (Disc Golf Network) for FPO and MPO coverage.

MPO Lead Card Post Production will be done by JomezPro. "The coverage from 2019 Pro Worlds blew expectations out of the water, with final round coverage going viral on youtube and eclipsing 2,500,000 views. We are thrilled to have Jomez return to film Ledgestone for 2020," said Heinold.

FPO Lead Card Post Production will be handled by GK Productions. Their channel has been the home of women's disc golf all year long, and the event team is excited to see them in action at Ledgestone.

MPO Chase Card Post Production will be covered by Central Coast Disc Golf. Central Coast has been an integral part of the Ledgestone experience for many years, and the tournament is excited to have Ian and company back for the 10th annual event.

MPO 3rd Card Post Production will be filmed by Gatekeeper Media. Gatekeeper Media was created in 2017 by two art school graduates with a combined experience of more than twenty years in the video industry. What started as a commercial drone company quickly turned to disc golf media after being brought on to do the layout videos for a local course.

PDGA Elite Series play continues this weekend with the seventh stop of the 2020 Disc Golf Pro Tour, Discraft's Ledgestone Insurance Open presented by GripEq. The competition will take place from August 13-16th with feature and lead card coverage broadcast live on the Disc Golf Network. The coverage will begin at 9:45 a.m. ET for the FPO division and 4 PM ET for the MPO division.

Discraft's Ledgestone Insurance Open takes place across three courses. Due to field size and travel between the courses, it was decided to have the FPO broadcast be in the morning with the MPO broadcast in the afternoon. Currently, the plan is to only make the adjustment for this event. Viewers will be able to watch two separate streams of coverage this weekend starting Thursday at 9:45 a.m. ET.

This is my first A Tier. Regardless of what Peoria comments you have, this has been a great experience so far. The amounts of good people I have met so far has been awesome. People traveling from all over the country.

Been a blast meeting everyone and the Am tourney hasn't started yet. Credit to tourney organizers for even getting this done with everything they have to deal with in Illinois.
