Hi All,
I was working on a new field game last night that I thought was interesting enough to share. Its essentially Bocce, but you can add tweaks and rules like 4-square.
1. Choose a path to work along (I was at my neighborhood high school's track).
2. Throw along the path line and see who is the furthest. This was tricky to determine how/if you were totally on the path the whole way.
3. Score like Bocce - furthest gets points until next disc stops points.
4. Mark furthest lie and repeat.
This was a good way for me to work on lines in the field where there are no obstacles. Any sort of rule can be added - I was choosing odd discs, only sidearm, change of direction etc. Definitely let me know if there are good tweaks to this - I plan on doing this a few times a week to get ready for States in a few months!
