I started out only throwing FH. For some reason i don't forehand and backhand the same molds or discs. I always used a 170 Star destroyer for distance until i found a freak stable echo* Katana. This thing bombs super far. I can throw the Katana on a hyzer and out distance the star D on a flex...
I have searched many times for discs in a wide open field. I practice a block away at a huge field and i have found that if you walk around long enough, you will find what you are looking for.
Pretty much the same as always.....
Putters:
2x KC Aviars 172 all putts inside 60 ft.
Yeti Aviar 175 approach/driving putter
Mids:
3x KC Rocs 180 Ice Bowl '09 flat, new to beat for an array of shots
USDGC x-out 888 Roc 180 overstable approach/windy
ESP Meteor 175 str8 forehand upshots
Champ...
the champ gummy spider is the most versatile approach disc i have ever used. I mostly forehand mine but it is one of the most predictable and reliable discs in my arsenal. It has got me out of trouble countless times. try forehanding it and you won't be disappointed.
advice from experience: Do not try to beat a kc roc in by throwing it at a tree from close range several times. It turns into a worthless squirrelly peice of poo.
This just in from lcgm8.....
